Kris Allen's Second Single "The Truth" Hits Radio

By now all of you are familiar with American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen's song “The Truth”, from his debut album. Its already a classic, but its about to get even better.

"Sony Music announced that "The Truth" will be American Idol winner Kris Allen's second single released from his self-titled debut album. The single is now being played on radio stations across the US.

The single will be a new version of "The Truth" with Pat Monahan of Train assisting Allen with the vocals. Monahan also wrote the song.

Train recently had a Top 10 hit with "Hey, Soul Sister." Allen's first single, "Live Like We're Dying," was also a Top 10 hit and went platinum, selling over a million copies.

Allen, a Conway, Arkansas native, will be back in Arkansas May 29 for a concert at Saline Summer Daze in Benton."
